It's dangerous to laugh when you are chewing gum (嚼口香糖) . You may choke (噎住) on the gum. This happened to Allyson Golden, a 12-year-old girl from the US. However, she was lucky because her friend Miriam Starobin saved her with something she learned from the cartoon Sponge Bob Squarepants (《海绵宝宝》). The two girls were in music class. You sometimes feel so close to your friends that they are like family to you. Why? A study by San Diego, a professor, has found you and your friends have more genes (基因) in common than strangers do.
