My favourite book is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It was written by Roald Dahl. In the story, a poor boy named Charlie lives with all his four grandparents and parents in a small house. Like all the other kids of his age, Charlie is also attracted by the chocolate factory owned by Willy Wonka, which is not far from Charlie’s home.
One day, Charlie who strongly wishes to enter the chocolate factory hears of some news which is going to make his dream come true. Willy Wonka, the chocolate factory owner, has hidden five tickets separately in five chocolate bars and whoever finds these tickets will be allowed to go into the factory and get a lifetime supply (供应) of chocolate.
The first four tickets are discovered by Augustus Gloop — a child who eats all the time, Veruca Salt — a naughty boy, Violet Beauregarde — a child who likes chewing gums (嚼口香糖) and Mike Teavee who only watches TV. Charlie finds the fifth ticket and goes to visit the factory with his Grandpa Joe. One by one all the other four kids are told to leave the trip because of their bad habits and Charlie wins the prize. He can enjoy as much chocolate as he wants.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory has been made into films twice. The first was titled Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and was released (发行) in June 1971. The second film was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory released in July 2005.

Getting paid to stay in bed all day sounds pretty good, but what if someone pays you $23,000 to stay in bed for two months? That’s the deal that a medical research team in France is offering to 24 volunteers.
The researchers are looking for volunteers to help them study the effects of weightlessness (失重状态) on the human body and find ways to stop problems. Lying in bed isn’t exactly the same as being weightless, but the effects are alike.
When astronauts spend a long time in an environment with no gravity (重力), their bodies change in many ways. After a couple of months, their hearts don’t beat as hard. Their muscles (肌肉) become smaller and weaker. Their bones may be broken more easily. There may also be changes in the astronauts’ immune systems and sleep habits.
The study will take 88 days. During the first two weeks, the volunteers will be tested to make sure of their levels of fitness. Then they will spend 60 days lying in bed with their heads lower than their bodies. They will have to do everything while lying down, including eating, brushing their teeth, and going to the bathroom. The rule is that they must have at least one shoulder touching the bed at all times. The last ▲ of the study will be spent trying to build up the volunteers’ fitness again.
Volunteers must be men between the ages of 20 and 45 who are in perfect health. The researchers has completed one study in April.
【1】What’s the third paragraph mainly about?
A.How astronauts work in an environment without gravity.
B.Why astronauts’ bodies change in an environment without gravity.

【2】Which of the following can be put in ▲ ?
A.two weeks B.three weeks
C.four weeks D.five weeks
【3】From the passage, we can learn that the volunteers must __________.
A.be women B.come from France
C.be in excellent condition D.be under twenty years old
【4】Where does the passage most probably come from?
A.A short novel. B.A medical magazine.

We can’t remember clearly since we started to take our mobiles to dinner table. This happens a lot,【1】(especial) when we eat out. Once a dish comes, instead of【2】(lift) our chopsticks, we take out our mobiles and click. Later, we post the photos onto Weibo or Wechat, waiting to be “liked”. Then we check our mobiles from time to time during the meal, to see whether we get “liked” 【3】not. We just cannot leave our mobiles for simply a meal.
Does that sound familiar to you? Do you do that often? If【4】, how do you feel when others do that when having dinner with you?
A recent study suggests that what we are used to 【5】(doing)is not so good. Spending time taking photos of food makes the food less pleasant. To test this , some researchers did an experiment. Some people were asked to take photos before they could enjoy food. 【6】a result, it showed that the【7】(many) photos they took, the less delicious the food was to them. So why not【8】(stop) taking photos and just enjoy the food in front of you?
So , next time you go out to have dinner with your family or friends, how about not【9】(take) photos of food? Let the food be delicious as it is and share your life with people【10】you. Trust me, it will be a wonderful time.
