Mice can move one eye in different directions while keeping the other eye still. It’s better to see their enemies. They can’t see as many colors as us. It’s not necessary because they mostly come out at night.

Are you angry about the noise of your alarm clock every morning? Still feel sleepy after getting up? Now, you can say goodbye to that annoying alarm clock, and you needn’t hear its unpleasant noise every morning.
The Glo Pillow(发光枕头) can wake you up with soft LED lights. They produce the soft light over 40 minutes just like the sunrise.
The pillow is taking the place of the traditional alarm clock. It was designed by Eoin McNally and Ian Walton to be against the pressure of a “24 hour” lifestyle.
The pillow uses a kind of LED material below the surface. It wakes the user up with light. The material can also show the time on the pillow’s surface, and it is perfect for those who sleep with their heads completely buried face down into the pillow. Forty minutes before the pre-set(预设) alarm time, the pillow begins to glow and gently brings the user out of sleep. The natural waking process helps to set “body clock” and makes people build a healthy sleep-and-wake habit slowly.

Hundreds of years ago, life was harder than it is today. People didn’t have modern machines.
Life today has brought new problems. One of the biggest problems is pollution. Water pollution has made our rivers and lakes dirty. It kills our fish and pollutes our drinking water. Noise pollution makes us talk louder and become angry more easily. Air pollution is the most serious kind of pollution to all living things in the world.
Cars, planes and factories all pollute our air every day. Sometimes the polluted air is so thick that it is like a quilt (被状物) over a city. This kind of quilt is called smog.
Many countries are making rules to fight against pollution. Factories must now clean their water before it is thrown away, and they mustn’t let dirty smoke go into the air.
We need to do many other things. We can put waste things in the dustbin and do not throw them on the ground. We can go to work by bus with our friends in the same car. If there are fewer people driving, there will be less pollution.
Rules are not enough. Every person must help to fight against pollution.

Conor Grennan was unwilling to be a volunteer. The 29-year-old American was not sure if he had the skills or a strong feeling for it.
However, he went to work at a children’s home in Nepal. His first thought was to make people remember him. “I thought that if I volunteered just once, I could retell the story over and over so that everyone could remember me,” Grennan said in a Huffington Post article.
However, his three-month staying at the children’s home turned into an unusual experience. It was 2004 and Grennan had given up his job to begin a year-long around-the-world trip, His first three months were spent in Nepal.

I went with 24 photos, and I found 24 families.”
At the same time, he put his heart into Nepalese culture.
Grennan said, “Volunteering is the single best way to see how the rest of the world lives.”
