Leon McCarthy, 12, was born without fingers on his left hand. That didn’t stop him from being able to do many tasks. But Leon could not grasp more than one object at a time. When milk arrived on the doorstep When I was a boy growing up in New Jersey in the 1960s, we had a milkman delivering milk to our doorstep. His name was Mr. Basille.
