What's more, I think friends are an important part of our health. Many studies show that people with a wide range of social contacts(社会交往) get sick less than those who don't. I always feel better when I am with friends than when I am atone. When I am with my friends, I always laugh. Laughing is also an important part of health. I like to laugh with my friends. By eating properly and exercising regularly, I can keep my body at a proper weight and keep healthy. By spending time with my friends, I can keep my mind as well as my body happy. These things sound easy to do, but not many people can manage them. I think a strong will is necessary if we want to keep healthy.

Tom was an eight-year-old boy. He was sick to death of school because he didn't want to do his homework. He was always looking for excuses not to do it. When he sneezed(打喷嚏)or had a headache, he told his mom he was seriously ill and he couldn't do his homework. Though Tom's mom was angry, she didn't know how to deal with him.     Jason Moore, 18

This summer, I'm going to volunteer with Special House Program. They build good, low cost houses and sell them to families that are not very rich. They'll teach me what to do, so I'll help people and also have a chance to learn how to build houses.

    Trish Anderson, 16

I'm going to teach kids who have trouble reading. I'll work for a program called “Reading for Life”. Every day, I'm going to help kids choose and read books that they like. I want to be a teacher and I love children and reading, so this is going to be a great experience for me.
