Camping is a good way to spend time along with your kids and to show them how wonderful nature can be. Through camping, children can discover new things about nature, such as flowers, birds, and other small animals. Camping gives kids time to get away from all the electronics (电子) of today's culture. Meal planning is an important part of your camping trip. Plan the meals together, and kids love to choose what they want to eat.

When starting to pack for your trip, let the kids pack their own items (物品) . Each person should have his/her own sleeping bag with a luggage (行李) bag to put it in. Personal items should be packed with their sleeping bags. Encourage the kids to put their items in a certain place and always return it when they have finished using it.

When you have arrived at your campsite, make all the camping activities a family activity, which will help children to realize how important team-work is. Everyone can have his/her own job sitting up the campsite. Meal time can be a fun time. It was a painful time for me, for I suffered from an illness and might never be able to have a child. As my 40th birthday approached, I began, for the first time, to notice babies and their happy, smiling mothers wherever I went.

One night, I came to a cafe to kill the boring time. An elegantly dressed, sightly older woman was seated next to me.

"Would you like to see a picture of my daughter?" she asked me, handing me a photo of a smiling Chinese girl. The child was about seven years old and was wearing a Snow White costume. That's Melanie, now in the first grade," she said. I could hear the motherly pride in her voice. "She's pretty," I said. "I love her costume." The woman explained that she felt strongly about teaching her daughter about Chinese customs and maintaining ties to her shoes. "What made you decide to adopt her?" I asked. "I didn't want work to be my whole life," she said.

I'm not sure if she saw the tears in my eyes as I replied, I don't either, but I'm afraid it's too late." I was 51 when I adopted Melanie, she said. "And it's the most rewarding, exciting thing I've ever done."

When my husband and I returned from China with our nine-month-old daughter, Madeline, in November 2017, Jill was one of the first people I e-mailed. I did it!" I wrote. "I'm a mother and she's beautiful"

"Congratulations," she wrote back. We recently reconnected on Facebook, and I told her, "You changed my life."

The Apple iPhone's impact was widely evident (明显的) at the Consumer Electronics Show, as new touch-screen devices could be found everywhere.

The consumer electronics industry came unbuttoned in Las Vegas this week. At the annual Consumer Electronics Show, companies from around the world unveiled many devices boasting (以拥有……而自豪) touch – sensitive technology, rather than traditional push-button controls.

Motorola, Sony, and LG Electronics all showed off touch-screen phones this week. The touch-screen tech ecosystem now includes more than 100 companies specializing in everything from smudge-proof (防污的) screens to sensors (传感器) able to detect fingers before they even contact the screen. Sales of leading touch-screen technologies, such as those used in mobile phones and navigation (航行) devices, are expected to rise to $ 4.4 billion in 2012, up from $ 2.4 billion in 2006, according to iSuppli estimates.

We believe that the more you get out into the world, the better place it'll be. But getting out into the world shouldn't mean leaving a footprint. By following those, your destination will be better after you leave.

Don't hold back. The best way to know a new place is to talk to the local people. When you're staying with them, tell them about who you are, why you're there, what you want to see and what you love about bringing yourself to new place.

Dive right in. What's the point in travelling outside of your home country if you don't also get out of your comfort zone?  If you want to sky dive and just have had that chance, do it. You'll go home with a story, and will leave locals with a story of their own of a brave traveler who conquered their fears.

Do your homework. Try to learn more about local customs, traditions and manners so that you'll arrive well equipped to enjoy your time and communicate with locals without any bad impressions.

We all travel for different reasons. Don't forget what drove you to hit the road. Sometimes, the best memories happen when you least expect them. If you open yourself up to the world, you'll never know how the world will change you!
