    Hello, I'm Sam. Last summer holiday, I went to Australia with my aunt. We went there by plane. We left Beijing in August. It was summer in Beijing. But it was winter in Australia. I like Australia because I like playing with snow. I went skating and took many pictures. I bought many presents for my friends too. I was tired, but I was very happy.

    Today is the first day of the week. Liu Tao and his friend are at the Sports Club. They're talking about their weekends. Liu Tao is from Beijing. He can speak Chinese and English. He often plays football at the weekend. Sometimes he rows a boat with his parents. David is from the USA. But he lives in China with his parents now. He speaks English and French. He often looks for something on the Internet at the weekend. Sometimes he helps his mother do some cleaning and washing at home.

    It's Chinese New Year's Eve. Lingling's family are busy now. Her father is cooking dinner. Her mother is washing the fruit. Her brother is writing an email to Uncle. Lingling wants to do paper-cutting(剪纸).First she takes out a piece of red paper. Then she draws a flower on it. Next she cuts it. At last she puts the paper-cutting on the window. Look, the window is very beautiful now!

    I'm Alice. My best friend is Kitty. She's from Canada. She is a nice and funny girl. She's ten. She's tall and thin. She has long hair and big eyes. She has a small nose. She likes taking photos. She also likes swimming and singing. I like singing, too. On the weekend, we often sing together in the park. We fly kites in the park, too. This weekend, we are going to play badminton in the park. That will be fun!

    Most English people have three names: a first name, a middle name and a last name. The last name is the family name. For example, my full name is James Allan Green. Green is my family- name. My parents gave me both of my other names. People don't use their middle names very often. So "John Henry Brown" is usually called "John Brown". People never use Mr., Mrs or Miss before their first names. So you can Say "John Brown", but you never say "Mr. John. They use Mr., Mrs or Miss with the family name but never with the first name.

Sarah is going to act in the school play" Snow White". It's one of her favourite stories. Two weeks before the show, she begins to practise (训练) with two friends. Sarah plays the part (角色) of the queen, Mike plays the part of the prince, and Amanda plays the part of Snow White.

The show day comes! Sarah gets up early and puts on a beautiful pink dress and a pair of blue boots. Then her parents take her to school by car. Mike is waiting for Sarah and Amanda in the school now. Then Amanda comes and they all come to school early. The play starts! Everyone does a good job and everything goes well. But Sarah falls down at the end of the play! What is she going to do? She wants to cry but she gets on her feet quickly and finishes the play. Everyone is happy for her. Sarah is a great girl.

Larry likes helping people. One day, he sees a bag in the lobby(大厅) . It is full of dog food. "Whose bag is this?" he thinks. "Mrs. Lee has a bag. Maybe it's hers. Larry takes the bag upstairs to Mrs. Lee's flat. "I find this bag beside the lift. Is it yours, Mrs. Lee?" he asks her. "No, Larry. It's not mine, "says Mrs. Lee. "Mr. and Mrs. Wang have two dogs. Maybe it is theirs. ""Thank you, Mrs. Lee, "says Larry. Larry carries the bag to the Wangs' flat. He asks them about the bag. "It's not ours, "Mr. and Mrs. Wang say. Larry goes to three more flats but he still can not find the owner of the bag. Finally, Larry goes back to the lobby. When he arrives the ground floor, he sees Mrs. Kong and her son, Joe, standing here.

"That's funny. "Mrs. Kong says to Joe. "The bag is too heavy so l leave it here and goes upstairs to call you. Where is it now?" "Is it yours, Mrs. Kong?" "asks Larry. "Yes, it is." says Mrs. Kong. "Let me carry it upstairs for you, ""says Larry. "Thank you. That's very kind of you. "says Mrs. Kong. " Let's carry it together. "says Joe.

Larry is very tired. He tells his mother about the bag. "Well done. You are very helpful, Larry. But sometimes you are too helpful."

Summer holiday is coming. I'd like to go to Mallorca. Its seacoast(海滨) is very beautiful. I'll go there with my friends. We plan to buy tickets(票) now because of the discount (打折). We will fly to Mallorca in August and stay there for about 4 days.

When we get off the plane, we will rent (租) a car. Then we'll look for a hotel to live in and then go out to the island. We'll go to Sa Calobra first. This coast is nice and it has a beautiful sea. We can swim and eat delicious food there. Then we will visit Es Trenc. It will take us two hours to get there by car from the hotel. The beach looks so beautiful in the photos. It is like the Maldives(马尔代夫). It gets very busy from 11 a. m. until 3 p. m. , so we will get there at 9 a. m. when it's very quiet. And there is a famous ltalian restaurant. We should try delicious food at the restaurant before we get back. I think we'll enjoy our holiday.
