Brazil sports are out of control! Brazil may be one of the most sports­crazy countries in the world. Whether you are into watching or playing, Brazil sports have a lot to offer everyone.

Football in Brazil is more than a sport. It's a way of life. Football is popular in Brazil for several reasons. One reason is that it is fast paced and fun to watch. This is the reason why the World Cup Soccer is the most watched sports event in the world aside from the Summer Olympics. Also, you don't need anything to play soccer except for something to kick, and a big area in which to play. Few will argue if you say that Brazil leads the world in football. No nation has won as many world cups as Brazil.

Volleyball is a close second in Brazil sports. In the world of international volleyball, Brazil wins many championships of all kinds, including indoor and beach volleyball. Brazil has nearly 5,000 miles of coastline. If you go to a beach in Brazil, there will always be a volleyball game going on somewhere, and usually two or three.

Footvolley was created in Brazil in the 1960s. It is a mix of football and volleyball, where the players must use their feet and head to get the ball over the net and into the opponents' court, and is also played in sand. It is one of the most popular beach sports in Brazil.

Swimming, tennis, rugby, boxing, judo, sailing, golf, surfing, and handball are all greatly popular in Brazil.

Are you bored with your daily life? Here are some things you should try before you are 18.

★Learn to swim

Seriously, this is so important that it can save your life. If you can't swim well, you won't be able to do water sports like waterskiing, surfing and diving. Even taking a boat trip will be dangerous for you. Make sure you do it.

★Try at least one kind of team sports

Being a good team player is an important skill in life. You can't just think of yourself, but have to work well with other people. Other advantages of team sports like basketball, football and baseball are that they keep you fit and healthy, and they are also great fun. Teams usually have a good social life too—you'll go to lots of parties and make many friends.

★Collect something

One of the best hobbies for under-18s is collecting things. You could collect kinds of stamps, or you could collect things that make you remember what you have done, like cinema tickets for films you have seen or letters from friends. The best way to collect is to have a special album to put your collection in and to write what each thing means to you. That way you won't forget.

Being a teenager can be hard, for you have to face a lot of difficult problems, but a new program called Nfusion is working hard to help teens with mental(精神的)health needs. Nfusion gives teenagers classes where they study or discuss some troubling subjects. Drugs and bullying(欺凌)are just a few of the topics discussed during the class on Saturday.

"I had a bad attitude," said 17-year-old Titeana Davis. Davis went through the Nfusion Program last year. The teen, who once had trouble with her attitude towards others, says the program has changed her life. "They taught me a bad attitude is not going to get you anywhere, "said Davis.

Nfusion is a new program that meets teens mental health needs and provides help for their families. The program is designed to help teens aged 14—21 live through a difficult period.

"They're still growing, still developing and still there are a lot of things they don't know how to address. So this is a good program for them to be a part of," said Lakicha Jemigan, who worked for the Nfusion Program.

Teens like Davis are just a few who have come through the program successfully. Now thanks to Nfusion, Davis says she's looking forward to a bright future. "After I graduate from college, I want to work at a primary school and I want to be a second grade teacher," added Davis.

Why play sports? You might say "to get exercise" and you would be right. To have fun? That's true, too. But there's more. According to the Women's Sports Foundation, girls who play sports get a lot more than just fit.

Girls who play sports do better in school. You might think that athletics will take up all your study time. Exercise improves learning, memory, and concentration, which can give active girls an advantage in the classroom.

Girls who play sports learn teamwork and goal-setting skills. When working with coaches, trainers, and teammates to win games and achieve goals, you're learning how to be successful. Those skills will serve you well at work and in family life.

Sports are good for a girl's health. In addition to being fit and keeping a healthy weight, girls who play sports are also less likely to smoke. And later in life, girls who exercise are less likely to get breast cancer or osteoporosis(骨质疏松症).

Playing sports improves self-confidence. Why? It builds confidence when you know you can practice, improve, and achieve your goals. Sports are also a feel-good activity because they help girls get in shape, keep a healthy weight, and make new friends.

Playing sports can reduce stress and help you feel a little happier. How? The brain chemicals leased during exercise improve a person's mood. Friends are another mood-lifter. And being in a team creates tight bonds between friends. It's good to know your teammates will support you-both on and off the field!

Many freshmen find their first year of high school frightening. Students feel a（n） 1 of anxiousness and excitement as they 2 their four-year journey. Many freshmen are becoming involved in activities around campus to 3 the new school.

"I seem to be at the 13 of the school food chain (食物链)," Shane Lenoir said. "It looks like everyone else on campus is 14 than me."

"High school was frightening at first," Joshua Brant said, "but, I'm excited to take on my next four 15 ."

Lang Ping and Michael Jordan are athletes who are masters in their sport.

When the Chinese team was preparing for the 2015 World Cup, her determination  (test). The team that Lang Ping had built was falling . Two players had to leave. (lose) two important players was a big challenge, but Lang Ping did not lose heart. She knew that her young  (player) could win if they worked together as a team. Two weeks later, they were world champions!

Michael Jordan  was known as "Air Jordan" changed basketball with his graceful moves and jumps. His skills were impressive, but the mental  (strong) that he showed made him unique. Jordan says that the secret to his success is learning from his failures. Losing games taught him to practice  (hard) and never give up. In life, Jordan has learnt (share) his success with others. The Boys and Girls Club which he started in Chicago (help) young people since 1996.
