Teenagers are the most dangerous drivers on the road. Teaching them to drive carefully is very important in helping them become safe drivers. Cellphones and friends can very often lead to accidents, but there are other factors(因素) affecting teenage drivers, like lack of (缺少) sleep, drunk driving and not wearing seatbelts(安全带).Parents can set rules to help children stay safe on the road. ★Encourage teenagers to avoid speeding. It is the most important rule to educate them. Driving too fast is very common among teenagers and is perhaps the easiest way to break traffic laws. Teenagers should be required to avoid speeding and not to ride in a car with anyone else who speeds. ★Ask teenagers to always wear a seatbelt. Whether a teenager is driving or not, he or she needs to be asked to always wear a seatbelt. If the teenager is old enough to have passengers, ask passengers to wear seatbelts, too. ★Always set limits (限制) on the number of passengers. You and your teenager must agree on a set number of teenagers as passengers, but the number of passengers should not be larger than the number of seatbelts in the car. ★Set a fixed time for your teenager to be home. There should be a clear time when the teenager needs to be home. Then they will be more careful when they are in the car.

More than 60 per cent of children and teens do not get enough sleep, which can put their health at risk, according to a report by the Chinese Sleep Research Society. Nearly 63 per cent of Chinese youths ages 6 to 17 sleep less than eight hours a day, according to the report. Among 13 to 17-year-olds the number is more than 81 per cent. The report was based on a survey at the end of last year and in January. It covered nearly 70, 000 children and teens ages 6 to 17 all over China. The report found that two top causes influenced students' sleep. From Monday to Thursday, 64 per cent of the group would still be busy with their homework after 11 p.m.. More than 4l per cent of children and teenagers who sleep too little use computers and mobile phones. The survey also showed that good sleep makes study effective(有效的). Some students who sleep longer generally finish homework in two to three hours. Some other students may require four to six hours because they sleep less. Zhao Zhongxin, a professor studying sleep disorders, said, "Sleep helps growth, protects the brain and makes the immune system(免疫系统) better. Long-term loss of sleep will bring risks of disease and cause lasting health damage." Some specialists suggested that local education authorities all over China take action to help students get more sleep, including putting off the start of morning classes by half an hour.

First, you have to pay more attention to your diet. Eat more fresh fruit, vegetables, fish, eggs and milk. It's good for your eyes. Also, a regular amount of vitamins A and B2 should also be taken. Second, you must have regular and sound sleep. This relaxes the eye muscles(肌肉)and gives them the rest they need. Sleep can help the body repair its tired tissue(组织). You should sleep for at least seven to eight hours every day. Loss of sleep can give you dark circles under your eyes. Next, it's necessary for you to exercise your eyes every day. Blink your eyes at regular periods to keep your eyes moist(湿润的). Last, you should treat your eyes correctly. For example, if you get something in your eye, don't start rubbing(揉)it.
