    I'm not always a fan of museums. I can't pay attention to what I am watching the subject matter is very interesting. And art museums? They have never my "thing". But that's not to say that I go to museums. I do have my favorite museums around the world. For ， I like NewSeum in Washington, D. C. and Te Papa in Wellington, New Zealand. And sometimes there are several museums that are so or special that I can't let myself skip(略过)them. Here is one of the most special museums I have so far. It is the National Leprechaun(小矮妖)Museum in Dublin, Ireland.

    The museum is not a traditional one. Visiting the museum is more like a theater experience. The 45­minute tour takes you through the museum room room and your tour guide tells funny stories about leprechauns. Some rooms are of huge furniture(家具). In these rooms, you just look like a very little man. The guide also you to take photos as you make your way through the rooms. So I took a lot of interesting pictures that day.

    I really hope to visit the museum again!

    Two years ago, the company Peter to Cairo in Egypt, so his children, Mike and Clare, there with their parents.

    They love seeing the world. They have to many interesting places. In Egypt, they have the Pyramids, travelled on a boat on the Nile River, and visited the palaces and towers of ancient and queens.

    Mike and Clare have begun to learn Arabic. But they it hard to spell and pronounce the words. Sometimes they German, French, Chinese and Arabic.

    The company has Peter to work back in the US. The children are happy about that. They their friends in the US. They are down the days now.

    This summer, my family and my aunt's family went to Parks in Canada. We spent most of the time hiking(徒步).

    One day, we hiked to a popular hiking way in Canada. Everything was beautiful. My cousin and I saw lots of animals like squirrels(松鼠) and chipmunks(花栗鼠). Surprisingly we saw a chipmunk with dirty hands. His hands were of berry juice! My cousin and I named it Jairo. We 7 that Jairo was a very clever chipmunk. He us the whole time. My cousin said, “Do you want to shake with him?” So I held out my hand. I could believe it when he touched my hand! It was the time in my life I had touched a wild animal. I did it! What an moment!

    At that moment, I believed that animals could be friends. People and animals should live together .

    This year Mary studies at a new junior high school. She feels at first. She wants to make friends with her , but she finds most 7them are foreigners. Then she misses one of her friends, Linda. Their lasts for years. But they had a quarrel last month. Looking at the that Linda sent her before, Mary misses Linda more usual. She holds the phone, but she is afraid to call her. She worries about Linda could answer her phone. Luckily, Linda answers her telephone. When Linda hears that it is Mary, she is touched and she says that she Mary very much. At that moment, Mary feels that she is happier than else in the world.

    More than 95% of the people in the world have phones today. They help us easily make contact(联系) with others. It means that we write letters now. But a TV show, Letters Alive, is bringing this old habit.

    The show is loved by people around China. It invites the famous actor or actress who walks up to a microphone(麦克风) and reads a . People wrote the letters from different times in history. We can experience the real lives and of the writers.

    Besides it, another TV show, Readers, is also . It invites different people to read aloud on the stage, and the touching stories behind them. They can read anything, like poems and books. Now the gives people a special place, a reading pavilion(朗读亭), to read all over China. Reading pavilions are now in some like Shanghai, Hangzhou and Xi'an. The pavilion is quite . Only one person can come into it each time. A microphone in it records people's voices. Some of the readers will be picked and invited to on TV.

    Cultural values and true feelings are the keys to win praise. Both shows are leading Chinese people to enjoy reading. In fact, this is also why our country is trying to do now.

Interviewer: Scott has an interesting job. He   at a radio station. Scott, what time is your radio show?

Scott:    twelve o'clock at night to six o'clock in the morning.

Interviewer: What time do you usually get up?

Scott: At eight thirty at night. Then I eat breakfast at nine.

    I had been in London for two years. During the time I was  there, my strong wish was to go back home instead of  in the city I didn't know well.

My parents are quite old and I might have no time to see them again if I gave up this plan. At the airport, most of my teachers and friends came to see me off and quite a few gave me . Many group photos were taken and before long the final moment came. Everyone shook hands with me and said goodbye to me. Their eyes were filled with and I knew they were  at the moment.

    I work in a cleaning company. Usually people call us, and we  house cleaning service.

    One day, I got a call from a man named David." I want to help an old man. He just had surgery (手术) and is still .Can I pay for it without letting him know?" he asked. David was a very kind man. He called us because he was worried about his , Mr. Smith. Mr. Smith just came back from the hospital. His house was in a , but he couldn't do any housework. Even  the floor was difficult for him. He didn't tell his children because he didn't want them to  their time taking care of him. David wanted to help Mr. Smith without bringing him any .And then we asked David what would happen if Mr. Smith would refuse to let us come into his house." I have to at least try, and ，I really want to help him，" he said.

    Luckily, Mr. Smith let us in and our workers did a good job. we promised David not to tell his name, we didn't tell too much to Mr. Smith. Mr. Smith was touched by the gift from someone he didn't know. Sometimes we don't expecton others, because we are afraid of letting them get into trouble. However, there is always someone who cares for you and tries his best to help you.
