In the first semester (学期)of college, Professor Kelly lectured us in his Acting I class about the importance of taking the business of acting seriously. As I prepare to take on my senior year, I think back on the first semester and I consider my seriousness and my love, for the art of theatre. I'm pleased to say that, for the most part, my determination remains as strong as ever.

Even after I've learned about the difficulties and heartbreak that go with pursuing (追求) work as an actor, I know that it is still the right path for me. Something Professor Kelly said in that first acting class has stuck with me through these last three years. He said, "Every actor chooses to act for their own reasons — personally I do it because I have to. I have to perform. It's who I am." For as long as I've been performing，I've wondered how to best describe why I do what I do. Professor Kelly answered that question for me that day.

When I was little and first imagined what it would be like to be a real actor, I would imagine being famous someday. However, I never actually wanted that. Fame was never my reason for putting my heart into my work. I did it because I was myself.

There was never a question of what I wanted to do with my life. If I didn't pursue acting, I had no idea what I would do. I was lucky that my family understood me. They knew from the start that nothing was going to keep me from doing what I loved.

Eating healthily is an increasingly popular goal, but lunch is a meal that is sometimes difficult to prepare and is often skipped (略过). Packing lunches for work or school is sometimes done with less attention than other meals. To form healthy eating habits and plan healthy lunch ahead of time, you can consider these healthy lunch ideas.

Packing lunch for work or school depends largely on equipment(设备) for the kitchen. Workers can enjoy the convenience of a refrigerator and a microwave at their office, but children in school can't. Even though lunch needs to be quick, skipping lunch or stopping at a convenience store is not a healthy choice. Healthy lunch doesn't have to be given up because of the time limit if you plan ahead and consider it as important as other meals. There are other advantages of planning and carrying out healthy lunch, for example, having more energy throughout the day, becoming more productive and saving money on eating out.

Here are some ways to improve one's leadership at work.

Learn from leaders that you admire. You can get encouragement from any leader that has left a great impression on you with the leadership.Choose the good qualities that you want to study, such as keeping their words, trusting others and courage.

As a leader, it is important to teach others what you know to help them grow in their jobs. If you spend time teaching others, you can enable them to have valuable skills and knowledge.

Build good teams. Many people want to work in or be part of a successful team.When you build it, you have to know the advantages and disadvantages of members, and other things.

Be a good listener. Good listening skills are important to a leader. With so much information distracting (分散) our attention today，it is easy to ignore(忽略) listening skills.Listening carefully can help people feel understood, appreciated and respected.

Praise others truly. Sometimes leaders forget the power and importance of praising team members，yet this simple behavior is encouraging.
