Bull Run Regional Park

Michael is a 67-year-old American who has been feeding more than 150 homeless cats in Shanghai for the past eight years. Every night, he leaves his home at 11:00 pm and takes 20 kilos of cat food to the street feeding the homeless cats. So he is called by people "the king of homeless cats".

Eight years ago, Michael came to Shanghai for his family's business. At that time, he was a successful businessman. Though all the things happened to Michael, he still leaves his home on time every night.

Michael said: "My experience makes me feel that people are made of love. We must return our love to the world so that we can find our inner(内心的) peace." This is the happiness he gets every night when he's on his way to feeding food: feeling loved and needed.

The British are known for their sense of humor. However, it is often difficult for foreigners to understand their jokes. The main point to remember is that the British often use understatement.

Understatement means saying less than you think or feel. For example, if someone gets very wet in shower of rain, he might say, "It's a little damp(潮湿的) outside. Or, if someone is very impolite and shouts at another person, someone else might say, "She isn't exactly friendly ". Mr. Bean is popular in many countries around the world because you do not have to speak English to understand the humor. Because of this, many people have become familiar with the British sense of humor.

Physical education, or PE, isn't required for all high school students. In some schools, it isn't offered for different reasons. But should high school students receive physical education? The answer is certainly "Yes."

Today many people don't do sports. But as is known to all, doing sports is very important for an adult. Teaching teens the importance of a healthy lifestyle and making fitness plans now can help teens put exercise in the first place as an adult.

The American Heart Association says that 10 million kids and teens suffer from being fat. The increase in activities that don't get teens to move around, such as computer games, means many teens don't get their required exercise. PE classes act as a public health measure to encourage physical activities and help teens have healthy weights.

Not doing sports increases teens' risk of developing many diseases. An active lifestyle offers a good way of protection from these health problems. As much as 75 percent of health-care spending goes toward treating medical conditions that can be hindered by lifestyle changes, according to the American College of Sports Medicine.

According to the President's Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition (PCFSN), students who performed five hours of physical activity each week improved their academic performance. Students from programs with no physical activity, who used the extra time for classroom study, did not perform better on tests than those who gave up some study time in support of physical education.

How to Fall Asleep

Falling asleep isn't always as simple as placing your head on a pillow and shutting your eyes. . Getting comfortable may seem impossible. Fortunately, there are some ways to fall asleep quickly and improve your sleep quality.

Try to take deep breaths

Breathing exercises can help you relax. Take in a long, slow breath through your nose. By slowing your breathing, you can help regulate your heart rate and get your whole body ready for sleep. .

Manage light

Bright light after sunset tells your brain that the sun is coming back up, which can prevent it from releasing hormones that help you fall asleep. . Additionally, if you have to look at your phone or computer, lower the brightness.
