I played ping-pong with my classmates in school's ping-pong room. At half past four, the rain stopped. I went to the bookshop.

    Mr. and Mrs. Green had different ideas about where to go last weekend. Mrs. Green wanted to go to Florida to see her sister, but Mr. Green didn't like to go there. He wanted to go to Maine.     Oct. 8th

    October 1st is our National Day. It was Sunday. In the morning, our teacher took us to the park. Oh, there were many people. Everywhere we could see flags(旗帜) and flowers. We saw people dancing in the park. We had a good time.

    This morning I did some cleaning. Then I went to school. In the class, our teacher told us a very interesting story. It was about a French scientist Ampere. Once he was walking in the street. He began to work at a problem on a "blackboard" with a piece of chalk. But it was not a blackboard. It was the back of a carriage(马车). Ampere didn't notice(注意) it at all. How hard he worked at his problem!

    In the evening, it became cloudy. It's going to rain tomorrow, I think.

    Eric always feels very happy because his grandparents are1and he can go to the farm during vacation. Last week, Eric visited them and stayed(待) there for two days.
