    Do you want to become an astronaut? If you want to be one of the few people to experience the thrill of lift-off(发射), see the Earth from on high and float(漂浮) in a spacecraft, then how do you go about it?

First, you must really want to become an astronaut as it takes many years of study and work before you even begin your astronaut training. Most astronauts begin when they are between 27 and 37. Second, you need to be clever enough to attend a university to study engineering, medicine or one of the sciences. Many astronauts also learn to be pilots in their country's air force(空军). Third, astronauts come from many different countries, so they need to speak English. Then they can all talk to one another. Fourth, you must be healthy as astronaut training can be very tiring. Lastly, on a spacecraft, astronauts live and work in a very small space, so you need to get on well with people.

    Are you still interested? If so, maybe you will become one of the men or women that orbit the Earth in a spacecraft, walk in space or visit Mars. See you in space!

    All the world people enjoy sports. Sports help people to keep (health), happy and to live longer.   

    People play different (sport) in winter and summer. is good for swimming. And in winter people often go skating.

    Some sports are very popular and people everywhere like . For example, football is very popular. In China, most people, men, women, boys and girls, like to watch football games. They often talk about it. Running and jumping (begin) long, long ago. But basketball and volleyball are rather (new) than others.

    I also like (do) sports and I look (strong). I have entered a lot of competitions. I (win) many prizes already. I hope everyone will do sports and be healthy.

    Children laugh often and easily. But as we grow up, we laugh less and maybe feel unhappier. Try laughing for no reason at all. That's how thousands of people start their day at Laughter Clubs around the world, and many doctors now think that having a good laugh may be one of the best ways to stay healthy. The first Laughter Club was started in Mumbai, India, in June, 1995 by Dr Madam Kataria. "Young children laugh about 300 times a day. Adults laugh between 7 and 15 times a day," says Dr Kataria, "Everyone's naturally good at laughing. We want people to feel happy with their lives." There are now more than 500 Laughter Clubs in India and over 1,300 all over the world.

    Rob Frenette had problems with bullies (欺辱) at school for eleven years. He was often lonely and afraid. When he was fifteen, however, he decided to do something about his problems. He walked into a newspaper office and told them about the bullying. His story went into the newspaper and soon all the TV stations in Canada wanted to talk to him about his experiences. They also wanted to hear his ideas to stop bullying.

    After that, Rob continued his studies at school, but in his free time he helped other people with bullying problems. With a friend Katie Neu, he made a website called www.bullyingcanada.ca. Visitors to the website can find advice, stories and poems about bullying, in both English and French. When people are upset, they can talk on the phone or online to Rob and his team. Every weekend Rob has to answer e-mails to the website. He also speaks to children, teachers and members of government around the country about bullying.

    Rob's most important message is: "When bullies are unkind to you, it isn't your fault. There's nothing wrong with you, so you should try to keep believing yourself. And remember that people care about your problems. You just have to find those people."

    One of Rob's ideas is "Blue Day", a special day for stopping bullying in schools. Students have to wear blue clothes and in class they learn how to stop bullying. More than 150 Canadian schools now celebrate Blue Day, but Rob won't stop until there's a Blue Day in every school in Canada.

    Bruce lived in a small town in England. He lived  (quiet) with his family. And he always spent his holidays in England, but last year he wanted to do something  (difference), "I've never been outside this country. Many people say Spain has beautiful sunshine and fantastic  (beach). Also, I can go to visit my cousin in Barcelona, I  (not see) her since many years ago. So this year, I'm going there."

    He went to Madrid, and stayed in a small hotel for some days. One day, he went out  a walk. In England people drive on the left,  in Spain they drive on the right. Bruce forgot about this. While he  (cross) a busy street, a bike hit him down. The bike hit Bruce  heavily that he lay on the ground for a few seconds. Then he sat up and said to  (him), "Where am I?"

    Just then   old man came, he was selling maps next to him. As soon as he heard what Bruce said, he asked him at once, "Map of the city, sir?"

    The Read family comes to a new big city, but Mrs Read's son, Bob, is not happy. He doesn't have anyone to play with. "Don't 1!" says his mother. "You will soon have friends here."

    One morning, there is a 2at the door. Bob's mother, Mrs Read, opens it. There stands a woman with brown hair. It is Mrs Miller. She comes to borrow some 3. She wants to 4 cakes. Mrs Read gives her two. In the afternoon there is another knock at the door. Mrs Read opens it and sees a boy 5 there. "My name is Jack Miller." he says, "My mother sends you this cake and two eggs." "Well, thank you, Jack," says Mrs Read, "6 and meet my son Bob.

    Look! Bob and Jack are having cakes and milk. They are playing football. Now they are 7! Jack says, "I'm glad you live next door." Bob says, "I must thank your mother for coming to 8eggs." Jack laughs and tells Bob, "My mother doesn't want to the two eggs, but she wants to make friends 9your mother!" Bob says, "That's a funny way to make friends. It's a (an) 10way, too. It can work!"

    Only if you're willing to make friends, you can always find some ways!

Life is always full of stress these days. How do you usually solve your stress? Do you know doing housework is helpful in solving strees? In fact, doing something like washing dirty clothes may rally make people relaxed. "Doing some housework such as folding clothes or cleaning the room is a good way to face our stress without taking am medicine," says Carol Clark, a successful psychologist (心理学家) in New York. She often advises people who are under lot of stress to try doing housework every day. "While washing something," she says, "you can imagine you're washing away some trouble in your life."

Do people all agree with her idea? Here are some ideas about it.

"Housework is the main reason for the stems in my life," says Linda in France(法国) " Get me out of doing the housework and then I'll really be relaxed."

Gary is a single (单身的) father. "So, a man pays a psychologist 5200 an hour for his problem about stress.

However he is just told to go back home and do some housework. I really don't know who is crazier, the psychologist or the man!
