What kinds of homes will we live in the future? Nobody can be sure, but architects and scientists are working out new ideas now.
Some architects are thinking about building whole cities under huge glass domes(圆顶). Of course, complicated(复杂的) heating and cooling systems will be necessary to control the climate in the domes. However, there will never be any rain or snow, and the temperature will always be comfortable.
Another idea that will be helpful to small countries (and island countries) is the floating city. Monaco has already built homes, stores, and offices on the water of the Mediterranean Sea(地中海). And a Japanese architect has suggested a plan for constructing buildings on bridges over Tokyo Bay.
There are some people who think we will go back to living in caves. But the caves of the future will be very different from the caves of the Stone Age. Computers will control light and climate. Farms and parks will be on the land over the cave city. When people want to go to the country or to a park, a short ride in an elevator will take them there.

The first chocolate was eaten by people in South America hundreds of years ago. In those days, the people did not really eat chocolate. They used beans to make a chocolate drink and they enjoyed it very much. Many years ago, the cocoa was brought to other countries and people came to love the taste of chocolate.
In 1824, John Cadbury opened a small shop in Britain. One of the things he sold was chocolate drink. In 1831, he opened a factory to make chocolate drink. He wanted to encourage people to drink chocolate instead of other drinks. A few years later, a man called Joseph Fry found a way to make chocolate bars, and for the first time, people had the chance to eat chocolate instead of only drinking it. But at that time chocolate was very expensive and only the rich people could buy it. Later, as more and more chocolate bars were produced (生产) and sold, it became cheaper.
However, milk chocolate came later and this was made by adding milk to the chocolate. The first milk chocolate bar was made in Cadbury’s factory in 1897. It has been the most popular chocolate in Britain and around the world for over 100 years. The Cadbury is still in Britain and the chocolate produced there is eaten all over the world. Every year, thousands of visitors visit the factory in order to see the production of chocolate.
