It was opened on April 5th this year. Unlike most cafes, Deluxe X Coffee only opens for three periods every day: from 12:25 to 13:00, from 17:55 to 18:35 and from 21:55 to 22:25. This is convenient so it is very popular among teachers and students. The popularity of the shop also comes from the students’ hard work. “we are making coffee by ourselves, with high quality but at a low price,” said Ye Jiahao, 17, manager of the coffee shop. He told us that the cakes were booked online and sent to school at 10:00 every morning and fresh fruits were ordered from a food market nearby. “quality is important to our business,” said Ye. Yet it doesn’t mean there are no difficulties any more. Ye said “running a business is like fighting”. “the biggest difficulties i have ever had is finding out how to manage a team,” Ye said. He has had to make sure that different department communicate properly. If you look at the sky one night and see something moving and shining that you have never seen before, it might be a comet (彗星). A comet sometimes looks like a star. Like a planet, a comet has no light of its own. It shines from the sunlight it reflects (反射). Like the earth, a comet goes round the sun, but on a much longer path (轨道) than the earth travels. Others keep coming back at regular times. A big comet that keeps coming back was named after Halley because he was the one who worked out when it would come back again.
