Before Christmas Mr. Smith broke his right leg and had to stay in hospital. When he was there, he always asked his doctor when he could go home. He didn't like to spend Christmas in hospital. Though the doctor did his best, Mr. Smith didn't get better. So on Christmas Day he was still in hospital. He spent a bad day in bed thinking that he missed a lot of fun on such a happy day.
The next day the doctor told him that he might be well enough to leave hospital in time for the New Year. Mr. Smith was very happy to think that he would spend New Year's Day outside hospital. Soon Mr. Smith left hospital and on New Year's Eve he went to a party. He enjoyed himself there. But he drank too much. On his way home that night, he had a fall and broke his left leg. What an unlucky man he was!
Only Mother's Love is true love. It gives everybody everything all her life.
When you are still a baby, mother takes good of you as much as possible. In your walking hours, she always holds you in her arms. When you are ill, she stops her work right now to look after you day night and forgets all about . When you are growing up day by day, she feels very .
When you are enough to go to school, mother still looks after you all the time. cold winter days, she always tells you to put on more clothes. She always stands in the wind, waiting you back from school. When you hurry to leave home for school with little breakfast, she always feels about you at home. She usually knows about your study and spends much money on your school things. When you do well at school, you will see the brightest on her face.
