表转折关系的连词 知识点
常见的表示转折关系的连词有but(但是)，while(然而)，yet(然而)等，表示前后对比或相反关系。
1.but的用法
but 意为“但是，然而，可是”，连接两个句法作用相同的单词、短语或句子。
例句：(1)He is young, but very experienced. (连接两个作表语的形容词) 他很年轻，但很有经验。
(2)The man was so tired, but he still went on working. 这个人太累了，但他仍然继续工作。
2.while的用法
while 在表示转折关系时，往往连接内容和结构对称的两个部分，用来表示鲜明的对比。
例句：(1) I love strong tea while my father loves coffee. 我爱喝浓茶，而我父亲爱喝咖啡。
(2) At school, some students are active while some are shy. 在学校，有些学生很活跃，而有些则很害羞。
3.yet的用法
yet 意为“但是，然而”，常连接句子，表示惊讶或者转折。
例句：(1) She said she would be late, yet she arrived on time. 她说她会迟到，然而她按时到了。
(2)Mike was usually so careful, yet this time he made a small mistake. 迈克通常都很小心，但这次他却犯了一个小错误。
注意：
①although不能与表示转折的but连用，但是可以与yet连用。
②yet用作副词时可与并列连词 and或but连用，构成习语and yet或but yet，且两者大致同义，均想当与表转折的but。
