These days, a new way is used to decide who are good students at school. The best students are those who not only get high grades, but also follow the rules and the behavior standards (行为标准) for middle school students. Here are some of them.

Tell the truth. Have you ever copied (抄袭) someone else's work on an exam? If you have, then don't do it again! That's not something an honest student should do. If you have played computer games for two hours in your room, don't tell your parents you were doing homework.

Learn to work together with others. It would be more fun when more people work together. Working together can make you stronger. Be friendly to the people around you. Try to think of others, instead of (而不是) only yourself.

Be open to new ideas. Have you ever thought that people could live on the moon? Perhaps you'll discover (发现) Earth II someday. Don't look down on new ideas. You should welcome them, because new ideas make life better for everyone.

Use the Internet carefully. The Internet can be very useful for your studies. Some websites (网站) on the Internet aren't for kids, so make sure to visit the web pages that are good for you. You can use the web for fun or homework.

Many people like to travel when they have time off from school or work. They might go to their hometown to see their family, or travel somewhere far. But not everyone does this--some people like to take a "staycation"' better.

A staycation is when you spend your holiday at home or near your home. Some people might travel around their city. Others might try rural tourism (乡村游) in the countryside. People like me prefer (更喜欢) to just stay at home.

I had a staycation of my own over the summer. I slept late every day. I worked on music and played video games. I wasn't too lonely (孤独的) -- I had my cat to play with, and I visited some of my friends around the city.

Traveling is fun from time to time. But it's also nice to just stay at home and relax. It's also cheaper, since you don't have to pay to travel. You can choose to do just about anything you want—or, if you want, just do nothing. There's nothing wrong with that.

I heard the sound of the boat workers telling people to hurry up and get on board As usual, I was running late and I wasn't sure if I would get on the boat on time.

Luckily, I was able to catch the boat and start my trip. I was going to work on a small island(岛屿) .It was just one of those days when things were not going right for me. I sat in a comer of the boat with my bag next to me. 1 wanted to be alone (独自的) and I didn't want anyone to talk to me.

I looked up at the sky and thought quietly to myself. I saw some clouds that looked like they were giving me a "thumbs (大拇指) up". It looked so wonderful that I couldn't help smiling. Seeing the shape of the clouds made me feel relaxed and calm. It seemed to tell me that everything was going to be all right.

Life is not always perfect (完美的). We might be surprised by the bad things that happen to us. Sometimes, things feel messy (混乱的) ,while at other times, it feels like you have it all. We should learn to take it all in, stop for a while and appreciate what we have, whether it's something big or something small.

Remember to smile and look up at the sky. You never know when you might see something that brightens (照亮) your day.

Studying makes you tired. How to do with the worries and relax yourself? Here is some advice which may add happiness to your life.

Weekends are time for a rest. After a week's hard work, weekends are the best time for you to relax yourself. Having a nice sleep is a good idea, because a good sleep makes sure of your study.

If you feel sad, don't try to hide your feelings. Crying out may help reduce (减少) your sadness.

You can write down all that you want to say. That's a great way to think about and remember life. You can do it on paper or on computers.

It's not a good idea for a kid to lose weight, so you don't need to eat less food. When you feel upset, enjoy a big meal. Eating delicious food will make you feel good.

Having a get-together is great fun. Going out with friends for a trip will make you happy. And it will also bring you a good sleep.
