This morning my classmates and I go to visit an old1home with our parents. It is quite far 2our school, so we go there by bus. Forty minutes later, we 3there. Marty is five years old, and he is the baby of the family.

His brother Ralph likes playing basketball. "Can I play, too?" asks Marty.

"No, Marty. The basket is too high for you, and the ball is too big for your baby hands, "says Ralph.

"I'm not a baby," Marty says. "I'm 115 cm!"

Then Marty sees his sister Cindy tidying her bike. She will(将) go to the bookstore.

"Can I ride to the store, too?" asks Marty.

"No, the store is too far. And your baby bike is too slow. "

"I'm not a baby," Marty says. "I'm nearly(将近)six. "

"Six?" says Cindy. "You just had your fifth birthday last Friday!"

Marty starts to cry. "Why do you cry, dear?" asks Marty's mother.

"I'm too young to do anything. I don't want to be the last child. "

His mother pats(轻拍)her belly(肚子)and says. "We will have the fourth child. And that is to say, you'll be a big brother. "

"But, I'm too small to be a big brother," Marty says. "I'm just a baby!"

Do you have a favorite place -- a place with family and relatives(亲戚), good weather and fun things to do? I'm glad I have. New Jersey is my favorite place. I like it for many reasons(原因).

The first reason is my family and relatives. Half of my relatives live in New Jersey. When I visit them, my cousins and I play games and have fun together all the day. My uncles and aunts like taking me to the park. There we can ride roller coasters and play in the water. We all feel happy to stay together.

The second reason is the weather. It is not hot, and it's always cool. When I think about my visits to New Jersey, I can just feel the little wind in my hair. It's so great to stay there.

The third reason is catching crabs(捕蟹). If it's the crab season, we often catch(抓）crabs. We keep the blue crabs and the snow crabs, and we let the others go. Once, my cousin catches a crab. It is so big that it can't get out of the crab bag! Finally, we help it get out, but it hurts one of its legs. Poor crab!

For all these reasons, New Jersey is my favorite place.

Scott has an interesting job. He works at a radio(电台). He needn't get up early because he goes to work in the evening. It is about twenty(分钟) walk from his home to the work place. He has many hobbies. Not only can he dance(好) but also he is a member of a (游泳)club.

Scott is good with old people. Every Saturday, he tells them  (故事) and plays games with them at the old people's home. So he is very popular there.

Besides, he is always ready to help others. Molly, an eleven-year-old girl, is one of his fans(迷)．She lives in a small (村庄). There is a very big river (介于……之间)her school and her home. Every school day, she  (横过) the river to school. It is hard and takes a lot of time. She has a dream that one day there will be a (桥) over the river, so that the people there can go out easily. Scott feels sorry to hear that and now he is helping Molly to raise money (筹钱) to make her dream come (实现).

Lin Tao studies in a famous middle school. There are many different(rule) in his school.

He must wear the uniform  school days and he must (keep) short hair. He can't be late class and can't be  (noise) in the school library. 

Lin Tao thinks all these are (importance) and they are good for his growth. he always follows them. For example, every morning, he always remembers  (get) up early.
