We were bathed in the sunshine of weekend when an adventurous idea hit me, to go to Panisha Island for a brand new weekend with my brother Jack! Actually, Jack was a good partner, quick-minded and no-panic in trouble.
An adventure waited for us ahead. It was only a little after 12:00 o'clock and it couldn't hurt to go on a little exploration time. Could it?
We didn't want to play games at home anyway so I asked Mum, "Can we go to Panisha Island to explore?"

A tough passageway led us to natural pools, shallow waters with fishing spots, overgrown bushes and even a plane crash site. "Why not catch some fish here?" I excitedly suggested. Jack was hesitating when a roar(吼叫), like a true tiger, came out from the farther jungle! Jack thought hard and decided to get back quickly.

On the road right behind Margarito were a delivery worker named Steve and his nephew Mike, who were on the way to deliver furniture to customers in the countryside. They witnessed the horrible incident, and when Margarito's truck came to rest in the middle of the overflowing creek, Steve quickly began to take action. First, he grabbed a rope from the back of his vehicle and used it to ensure he could safely approach the truck.

"Don't miss this good chance to feed yourself, Jack." the officer advised. Together, they dragged Jack into the cafeteria. She stared at Jack and said:" Jack, do you remember me?" "Well, you do look familiar." Jack said while examining her face.

As we went to take off, he pointed out the control tower and told me there was always a person on duty there for emergencies. I nodded firmly, but I never thought there was a chance I would have to call him on the radio.
We were away from our airfield and practising basic turns at about 6, 000 feet. Everything was going smoothly. Suddenly, my instructor started to shake and he put in his hand on his chest with his head falling forward. Thankfully, in control of the aircraft at that time, I steadied the aircraft and turned to look at him anxiously. He seemed to be unconscious. Our lives were in danger, and I had to put aside my uneasiness. It flashed into my mind that situations like this had been covered in ground school.

He always participated to the best of his ability in whatever they were doing. That was why none of the children thought it unusual that David had decided to join the cross-country team. It just took him longer—that's all. David had not missed a single practice, and although he always finished his run long after the other children, he did always finish. As a special education teacher at the school, I was familiar with the challenges the challenges David faced and was proud of his strong determination.

Chito Shedden was a simple fisherman and tour guide from Siquirres, Limon Province, Costa Rica. He had a broad range of interesting facts about nature, which helped his business quite a bit.
The year was 1989 and Chito was walking along the banks of the Reventazón River when he happened upon something very strange. There was a dying male crocodile(鳄鱼). When he stepped up to carefully examine the skinny reptile, he realized it had been shot through the head and then the left eye.
He knew, dangerous as it was, he couldn't leave the poor animal there, alone and helpless. Chito acted quickly, asking several brave friends to load the heavy reptile into his boat. He knew if he could heal it, he would then send it back into the wild. He named the huge reptile "Pocho", which means strength, and began to care for him in his own backyard.
The kind and helpful fisherman started to heal Pocho with medicine, food, and more importantly, lots of care and attention. Chito fed the crocodile a steady diet of chicken and fish. He bought medicine to prevent infection(感染) and even slept by his side at night.
Affection was one of the most important factors. Chito gave him kisses and hugs. He talked to him and petted him. "The crocodile needs my love to regain the will to live, " he said. In time, Pocho improved enough and returned to normal health. It was time for him to return to his own river in the wild. Chito and his friends loaded the crocodile back into his boat and set him free in a nearby river. The two parted ways and Chito returned home alone.

Arthur was messy. He didn't try to make messes, neither did he try to clean up much. His socks never made it into the hamper (洗衣篮). She brushed the crumbs (碎屑) into her hand and threw them away after meals. She picked up his socks and made sure they got washed, dried and folded neatly before going back in the drawer.
One day, Mom asked Arthur to pick up his toy trains. He was reading a comic book and he was still reading, saying nothing. The trains had been on the living room floor since the morning.
"You know what, Arthur? I'm not going to ask you again. I'm done cleaning today." And with that. Mom put her feet up on the sofa and picked up a book to read.
At dinner time, Arthur noticed that there was a big pile of crumbs at his place at the table. After dinner, Arthur's feet felt cold. He went to his room and opened his drawer, but the drawer was empty. "Mom, where are my socks?" Arthur called.
"There weren't any socks in your hamper, so I didn't wash them," Mom said. Arthur felt unhappy. Now his feet would be cold, unless he wanted to wear dirty socks from the floor. He decided to stay barefoot.
When it was time for bed, Arthur said good night to Mom and turned to go upstairs. Arthur stepped right on his toy train in his bare feet. "Ouch!" cried Arthur. "That really hurt!"

"Yes," said John. "I do have a job for you. Look across the river at that farm. That's my neighbor. In fact, it's my younger brother! There was a piece of grassland between us.
